Moving On
I finally did it. I didn’t plan on it. I didn’t want to do it.Â
I resigned.
Yes, I left the lovely little clothing shop at the mall that I’ve worked at for all of a year. I’ve never been one to stick at retail for too long; a year is the typical time span for me before I find greener grass and move on. See, this time, I found the greener grass a long time ago, but I was able to maintain this part time job up until this point (and enjoy the generous discount that came with it). However, between my budding career with Bit & Bridle Magazine and Mary Kay, I knew it was time to let go. So I signed my resignation this afternoon, and it was okay. I left on good terms and I will be missing everybody but now I can focus on my other jobs and build my own businesses. I think it was a wise move on my part.
So lookout folks, with more time on my hands, you may just a victim of my next sales pitch.
